Ancient Astronauts tourblog part III & Midem DJ-sets

Dear music lovers,

as every year Midem Music Conference will happen again in Cannes/France by the end of January and as usual Switchstance Recordings will be represented. Label head Tom Strauch will be in Cannes from the 24^th to the 27^th so please get in contact if you want to set up a meeting with him. In addition there will be 2 DJ gigs by Dogu from the Ancient Astronauts (ESL Music/Switchstance) who will be deejaying at the ABB Records (USA) night at Sun7 Café and at the Balanced Records (CAN) night at Sun7 Café. Those of you who have visited Cannes before know that the Sun7 Café is the coolest spot in town which guarantees a night of great people and superb music.

Ancient Astronauts USA tourblog 3^rd part: live @ Eighteenth Street Lounge/Washington DC

“It´s time for us to present you the third part of our last trip to the USA. After having a great time in Miami with the Art Whino family we continued our journey to Washington DC, the hometown of our mothership ESL Music, to meet up with the label crew and fellow musicians and artists at the ESL studio. In addition to this we had two gigs at the Eighteenth Street Lounge. The first one was on friday night together with our friend Names Thompson on percussion and the second one was an opening set for Thievery Corporation (DJ set) on saturday night. It was incredible, good times all the way through. We love DC and are looking forward to return in march.
